Embroidery digitizing color image Step 4, Assigning colors from a pallet of 12 available on a 12 needle machine. More colors can be used but require thread changes while sewing.
Sample embroidery sew-outs Steps 5, 7, 9, 11, Test sew-outs. No matter how good the art looks on the computer screen the thread looks different when sewn. Wilcom Embroidery Software Steps 6, 8, 10, 12 Edits between each sew-out. Each corner point and line is meticulasly edited between each sew-out.
Click for detail Step 13, Final sew-outs. The small sweat shirt size patterns were about 4 inches (100mm) square and took about 45 minutes to embroider. The larger 8" (200mm) detailed pattern takes two and a half hours to sew-out.

Between each sew out of the large pattern minor adjustments were made.
